100% WHEY PROTEIN CHOCOLATE SHORTBREAD
Preparation Time: 15 minutes plus 1 hour to chill
Cooking Time: 15 minutes
- 200g (8oz) plain flour
- 50g (2oz) Bodyfuelz 100% Whey Protein
- 175g (7oz) butter
- 85g (3 ½) oz castor sugar
- 100g (4oz) chocolate chips
Step 1: Take the butter and sugar in a mixing bowl.Mix it into a proper cream.
Step 2: Combine the flour and Bodyfuelz100% Whey Protein chocolate powder to the mix.
Step 3: Mix them all gently with your hand and when the dough starts to hold together, add chocolate chips in the mixture.
Step 4: Pat the mixture into a log of approximately 9x4 inches and let it chill for at least 1 hour. Prick it with a fork to know if it is cooled properly.
Step 5: Cut it into 1cm width slices. Place it 1 inch apart from each other on an ungreased baking sheet.
Step 6: Bake it at 160 degree Celsius for 15 mins (or until it sets) in a preheated oven.
Step 7: Let it cool for 5 mins. After it cools down, remove it from the pan and place it on a wire rack and let it cool completely.
Step 8: Once it is cooled, Your Bodyfuelz 100% Whey Protein Chocolate Shortbread is ready to serve.
